Feminism Bullshit

women of dignity)
Without
Prejudice
Feminism you preach, yet you couldn’t
approach the man you are in love with, is that self-deprivation? The feminist
movement, I must say, is an extremist quest in disguise and with the number of
women taking their husband’s life, the feminist may have been nearing their
acclaimed aim. The table of domestic violence has been turned to men lately. This
not in defense of wife molestation, but it now looks like an act of revenge. No
doubt, the feminism rascality has polluted the minds of once homely African
women.
Respect for the husband and men entirely
have gone into thin air. Men and women are not equal, in the sense that they
have their peculiarities. There are things a man can do that a woman can never
do, vice versa. Those propagating feminism are doing the society more harm than
good. The result we have seen recently in Lagos and other parts of the country,
where women are killing their husbands. They should better still, question
divinity for making it so. A man cannot be addressed as madam, and a woman
cannot be addressed as sir.
The content of the gender equality goal
of the United Nations has no element of feminism or maninism in it. But rather
equal opportunity, fair treatment and respect for everyone, irrespective of
gender, is as simple as that.
Some feminist has refused to change
their last name(s) to that of their husband. 85% of these cases are on
insistences, rather than mutual understanding. Homes are breaking, the respect
for the man who changed your status and ushered you into the world of motherhood
has been trodden. I wonder why none of these feminist has ever walked up to any
man to propose for marriage. Some of them has resorted to getting pregnant and
becoming ‘dignified single mothers’. Yet,
it took their humility to a man with their back on the ground for the process
of implantation to happen. hmmm…
Life is incomplete without the opposite
sex, we must complement each other, God in His wisdom made it so.
The active engagement of women in
politics is not a bad idea at all. I have once written an article sometime in
2012 on “Breaking the Gender Myth on Peace”, which centered on involvement of
women in peace negotiations.
But when you look at the modules of
political activities in Africa and Nigeria, you will discover a need for
re-institutionalization of the system for inclusion of women rather than
championing feminism. Political meetings are held at the dead of the night, say
11pm to 3am and no reasonable woman, single or married would be out for a
meeting at such hour. These and many masculine-like activities of politics puts
a dutiful and responsible mother out of the game naturally. Even at that, we
still need more women in politics.
Our society is becoming more sexual that
ever, everywhere you look, there must be a woman showing off her laps or busts
(the new generation name for breast).
A lot of women go around naked, laying bare an endowment that should have
attracted honour and dignity for them. All over the social media and the
streets of Nigeria, hardly to see a woman dressed without the lines and even
the color of her panties displayed to the public, its no longer news. In most
music videos, men who own the show will dress properly, but the woman will
choose to go naked. Prostitution joints are opening more branches and I wonder
why feminist are not in the campaign for the restoration of women’s dignity by
themselves. The sexual porosity of our society by the women folk is in no
doubt, a catalyst to the increase of rape.
I will advice all feminist, especially
the elite among them, to look inward to see the harm than good they are
bringing to the society. All the education they have gained from western world
should not be used against the original will of divinity and thwarting of
family peace we once enjoyed in Africa.
Thank you.
